SunlightThe color of the foliage is in direct relationship to the amount of light. In the deep shade foliage will be chartreuse in more sun it will turn to a medium gold. In my yard it gets a lot of direct sunlight, but starts to burn and fade in July an August. Have moved to s shaded spot.

Author's NotesI have moved these plants to an area that gets some direct sun in the morning with dabbled shade to shade as the day progresses. These are gigantic plants almost 3 feet tall spreading 5-6 feet.
