Cultivar Origin
The cultivar "Mohican" originated in 1956 at the United States Arboretum. The plant was selected from a seed population grown from plants originating in Poland.
Author's Notes
I have found this to be a tough, undemanding, hardy plant for Zone #5. When the flowers start to shatter, the ground will be littered with the creamy-white flower parts.
