Author's Notes | I read a review about this plant and the author described the plant as "holly Invasive". No truer words were ever spoken. There is a yearly turf war in my garden between this plant and my Phlox Jeana, Achillea Saucy Yellow and Calamagrostis Overdam. Even the Achillea millefolium Saucy Yellow, which is a bit of a thug, needs some help from the invading Evening Primrose. Even with all of it's bad habits, it is very floriferous. A funny thing about this plant is a good portion will winter kill, but it quickly recovers. |
