Flowers | The flowers are pink to purple, borne in panicles that cover the plant. In my garden, they bloom from the end of May through mid-June, with a few smaller blossoms throughout the summer. |

Leaves | Leaves are the opposite: simple, glossy green leaves that can suffer from powdery mildew in the fall, I have seen only a little mildew on my plants |
