This cultivar is an All American winner. A medium tall to medium spreading plant for the full sun, hot dry areas of the garden. Orange-scarlet to vermilion-red, semi-double flowers.

"Sunset" is a cultivar of Cosmos sulphureus, which is called the Yellow or Klondike Cosmos
Author's Notes
This plant will readily self seed and than the seedlings will bloom later on in the growing season. If Cosmos flowers will last for weeks if cut when they are first open.
