Plants that I have brought into the house and grown in a cool bright window have produced 5 petaled, lilac purple flowers. I have never had a Vinca major cultivar plant bloom for me outdoors in zone #5.

The Vinca Explorer plants I have seen, are definitely an improvement in color over than old stand by Variegated Vinca Vine.
