Maintenance
Very prunable and easily kept to size. Has at least two growth flushes per season. Prune after the new growth hardens. Will recover slowly from hard pruning into old wood. Has very good winter burn resistance.

The original Taxus x media was raised in 1900, by T.D. Hatfield, at Hunnewel Pinetum, Wellesley, Massachusetts (USA)
Author's Notes
Have used probably over 100 of these in my landscapes. It is my "go to" Yew. Extremely hardy with little or no winter burn.
