Author's Notes | I grew up growing and eating Leaf Lettuce in zone #4. I still remember wilted lettuce salads consisting of freshly harvest leaf lettuce (probably Black Seed Simpson or Bronze Leaf) covered with hot bacon grease. Yes!, we used the artery clogging bacon grease and mom fried chicken in Criso. |
