Maintenance
It helps to cut back after flowering, needs good air circulation to avoid mildew. They can be over wintered in a bright cool window. Cut the plants back, re-pot and make sure the pests are controlled

I have grown many different type of Verbena and they seem to do good until the cool moist nights of fall start. They tend to get mildew at this point for me.
