Maintenance
dead heading helps to promote more flowers, I fertilize in the spring and fall with 2-4 cups of aluminum sulfide mixed into the upper layer of soil or at least under the mulch
Cultivar Origin
Developed by Dr. Michael Dirr of the University of Georgia. Twist-n-Shout is a cross between H. ‘Penny Mac’ and H. ‘Lady in Red,’combining the best characteristics of both.
Author's Notes
My plant made it through the first winter. Most surviving buds are near the bottom. Looking forward to the flowers this summer. In 2013 my plant was not over florific but had good flowers. In 2016 still going strong.
