Author's NotesFor many years I belonged to the Wisconsin Cactus and Succulent club. One year we took a bus trip to Spring Green, Wisconsin USA to see the Opuntia in bloom. I will always remember the trip. I had a patch of growing at my house, where I bank there's a patch and a friend of mine has a large patch. There are also some growing at the Wehr Nature Center and Boerner Botanical Gardens. So it does exist if you know where to look.
