Cultivar Origin | The original plant was found in 1936 by Francis Williams at a nursery in Bristol Connecticut. Francis was a garden writer and Hosta collector. |
Author's Notes | I have grown many Francis Williams and found them rather slower growing. Sometime there are images of this plant with very blue leaf centers. I have never been able to attain this blue of a color. |
