Cultivar Origin
Polemonium Touch of Class was discovered in April of 2005 as a naturally occurring branch mutation of Polemonium reptans `Stairway to Heaven` at Sunny Border Nurseries in Kensington, Connecticut USA.
Misc Facts
Polemonion was the greek name for a medicinal plant associated with Polemon, a philosopher, or the King Polemon. In Greek the word Polemos means warlike.
Author's Notes
My experience with the Jacob's Ladder cultivars is they are site specific. Any combination of to dry, to much sun, or poor soil results in a poor growing plant. Best planted where their features can be observed close up.
