Flowers
flowers (conical inflorescences) start white during the heat of the summer, fading to carmine pink and becoming a deep pink in the fall,the sepals turn a tan brown color in the fall
Maintenance
Flowers bloom on new wood. Pruning is done after flowering to increase the production of new wood for next season. Prune no later than early spring and they can be pruned hard. I prefer to prune late fall or early spring. (November zone #5). Additional water maybe needed during dry spells.

Bred from a seedling of Hydrangea Pink Diamond by Jelena and Robert de Belder in 1990.
