Flowers
Small white flowers with purple stripes are bore on an upright stem called a raceme.

The green leaves are oblong. On the upper surface running on both sides of the midrib are brown blotches. The plant is prostrate growing. During the night these leaves will roll up.

It is a low ground hugging plant. It can be kept in a small pot (4.5") or allowed to fill in a larger pot (10" or more). It will cascade over the side of a pot.
Maintenance
The passing of the flowers seems to indicate the start of a resting period. At this point, water a little less and remove the dead foliage. After a period of time it will start to regrow with fresh, crisp colorful leaves.
