Cultivar Origin
Originated in Denmark at the Hosta nursery Warmerdam. From either a seedling of H. Hallcyon or a tissue culture sport of H. Halcyon.
Misc Facts
In Spanish the name El Niño means 'little boy'.
Author's Notes
I have this Hosta growing in some gardens I maintain. It has become one of my favorites. Medium in size and has a lighter blue leaf color. Not a real rapid grower for me.
