Although the newer cultivars are resistant to many of problems they are still susceptible to powdery mildew, white fly and spider mites. They can be over wintered in a bright cool window. Cut the plants back, re-pot and make sure the pests are controlled.

I have grown a few of the Rupunzel series and they are excellent plants. But still got some mildew. I guess if you grow Verbena you get mildew.
