A cross between Geranium pratense and Geranium clarkei ‘Kashmir Purple’. Originated in Axel Tree Nursery, England (1989).

Has been listed as an improved Geranium Johnsons Blue with a longer blooming season and tends not to flop as much. (it still flops)
Author's Notes
I Have often refered to this Geranium as a "thug". It gets large (over 24-30 inches) and after blooming it opens up in the center, flops and looks like a mess. But if you cut it back hard the plant regrows and ay add a few blossoms.
