Flowers | The color of the calyxes could be a deep burgundy to a blood red. The flowers usually a dark red |
Dimensions | mine were grown in large pots with a soil volume 2-3, 5 gal pails, they reached 2 by 3 plus feet (HS), this is with a medium-hard July pinch |

Author's Notes | I am going to grow this plant again in the summer of 2021 in a spot that gives some shade and see how this works. The summer of 2020 wasn't a total loss since at the end of August through mid-October they were full of blossoms. |
