Description

Canna Tropicana is a taller rhizomatous perennial with striped red, pink, yellow, gold, orange, green foliage and bright tangerine flowers.

MaintenanceAfter the frost has killed the top, the rhizomes should be lifted, cleaned, and stored in a cool, dry place. I prefer to keep the clump intact and then divide it in the spring. Depending on your storage area, they may need to be moistened occasionally. Check occasionally to see if the rhizomes are shriveling.

Misc FactsCanna are often listed as growing from bulbs, which is correct. They grow from rhizomes.
Author's NotesThis has always been one of my favorite Canna. The multicolored striped burgundy leaves, along with the vivid orange flowers make this plant a show stopper.
