Misc FactsCerastium is derived from the Greek word keras meaning horn. This refers to the shape of the fruit. Tomentosa means woolly referring to the foliage.
Author's NotesI have never personally used this cultivar but observing it for many years at other gardens and it seems to hold true to the description of being compact with larger flowers.
