A follicle is a dry fruit formed from
a single rippened ovary. The seed pod splits open along one seam.
Example of this are Milkweed, members of the Mustard family, Magnolia
tree, etc.
This is the dried aggregate follicle of a Magnolia.
It consists of many follicles each will contain a seed.
